KATE MELVIN

Founder

Kate Melvin is a freshman honors student at the University of Alabama studying Management Information Systems and Computer Science. She discovered her love of coding and empowering women while attending a two week coding camp called Kode With Klossy. After independently developing multiple websites, Melvin founded Fembition to provide women with the resources to professionally excel. She manages the whole company and works on coordinating prospective partnerships.

MADELINE MCMAHON

Director of Outreach & Research

Madeline McMahon is a sophomore at Indiana University studying Journalism and Public Relations with a specialization in Strategic Communications. McMahon has always had a passion for women’s equality in the workforce and helping women succeed professionally. Madeline works to communicate with prospective clients and research valuable resources for the company, as well as being a frequent featured writer in the blog.

LAURA BROOKS

Director of Creative Content

Laura Brooks is a freshman at the University of Alabama studying Public Relations. She has always believed women should be treated equally, both in society and in the workforce. Brooks has shared an enthusiasm for writing for years, and is excited to be able to exercise it through a company she is passionate about. Laura writes for the website blog as well as assisting in the management of social platforms.
